Gotta love the Japanese style. I saw these guys in Japan Battle of the year, and they did not disappoint. Japanese style is one fo the few styles that is clearly different than the rest of the world. It is ofter characterized by quick leg movement and almost spazmatic like movements. In addition to this, many of the Japanese b-boys have become pioneers in power moves that are not easily replicated. Lastly, many Japanese b-boys are weird. This is one of the better battles we've seen. Team Shmetta vs. Top Eastside Dogs at Evolution Europe 2011. Both sides showed up with the heat, but our score has Shmetta (on the left) clearly coming away with the win on hypness, battle tactics, dancing, and pretty much everything else. You'll notice Top Eastside Dogs calling bites on everything Shmetta does, often an indication that they feel superior, but also threatened. In this instance, I'm sure Eastside Dogs also are aware that they are losing, causing them to use desperate measures.June 22, 2011
